I’ve compiled a list of my absolute favorite luxury wedding venues in Virginia from a photographer’s standpoint. It’s so important that your venue not only be gorgeous, but also conducive to beautiful images. These venues are luxury in every sense of the word, and offer an amazing experience on top of a beautiful location to get married!

The Estate at River Run| Maidens, VA

This may be my favorite luxury wedding venue in Virginia. This 16,000 sqf estate is a photographers dream. Twin spiraling staircases in the entrance lead up to some of the most beautifully designed rooms and bathrooms. It overlooks the James River with stunning greenery and scenic views. The main ballroom is neutral, with a grand piano and large windows. This venue and their staff are the epitome of a luxury venue and experience. I wish I had known of this venue for my own wedding!

Dover Hall | Manakin-Sabot, VA

Dover Hall is such a unique venue. It’s 33, 000sqf and has a luxury, old renaissance feel to it. There are so many different background options for photos, you really can’t go wrong with this venue. The outside is stunning as well and makes for some unique, show-stopping wedding images.

Pippin Hill Farm | North Garden, Va

Pippin Hill is a dream. Not only are they a stunning wedding venue nestled into the mountains in the Charlottesville area, they also have amazing in house catering. They are known for their amazing house made, farm to table foods and wines.

Castle Hill Cider | Keswick, Va

Castle Hill is known for it’s views and cider. This venue is sort of similar to Pippin Hill in aesthetic and also has amazing views that are stunning in photos. Another plus, is it also has water views.
