I can’t imagine being a bride during this time. Back in March, the wedding industry was literally flipped on its head. What was supposed to be a spring season full of bridal details, florals, and edding celebrations, quickly turned into long days at home and social distancing. My heart broke for all of my spring brides.

Meet Taylor! She is a fellow Richmond, Virginia wedding photographer and she is also a 2020 bride whose wedding was impacted by these crazy times. But, she had such a positive outlook on everything. She focused on what was truly important and planned a less than 10 person intimate wedding at The Estate at River Run— a luxe wedding venue just outside of Richmond, Virginia.

When it came time for their ceremony, Taylor was the most calm bride ever. They unified their lives in front of their closest family and it was perfect. Their vows were also essentially the same exact thing– how sweet is that?! The entire day was full of smiles and love. I can’t imagine a more perfect way to celebrate a wedding during a pandemic.

This is one of my absolute favorite wedding venues in Virginia, and it does not disappoint for portraits. The natural light throughout the whole venue is beautiful and makes for stunning, fine art images.
