When Valerie contacted me last minute to photographer her Cavalier Hotel Wedding, I was so excited! The Cavalier Hotel is a stunning, luxury, historic hotel in Virginia Beach that is unparalleled in classy, extravagant decor and service.
The Cavalier Hotel Wedding| First Look
Valerie and Lucas decided to do a first look. They asked that I scout some good locations around the Cavalier Hotel that would be good for the first look. I got there for their Cavalier Hotel Wedding about 40 minutes early to walk around and find the perfect location. There is lots of gorgeous outside seating, greenery, a garden, a pool, but it was still bright out and there were lots of people walking around.
Virginia Beach Wedding
Not only is a Cavalier Hotel Wedding in a gorgeous venue, it’s located directly next to the beach! Valerie and Lucas has a small wedding with about 15 people total. They set up a ceremony on the beach, with their sweet pup as the flower girl and ring bearer! How sweet is this!!
Valerie and Lucas ended their Cavalier Hotel wedding with a beautiful reception in one of the side rooms. They did a dinner party style reception where all of their guests sat at a long table with them. It was absolutely gorgeous. I love the idea of having a sit down reception with your close family nearby, sharing a meal at a long table. Valerie and Lucas’ Cavalier Hotel wedding was tasteful, stunning, and full of love.
From the ironed table cloths, to the florals, Valerie’s dress and the love their families surrounded them with, the wedding was absolutely stunning.
