Sara and Brandon planned to get married on a Monday and have a photo session in their wedding attire following. It would just be the two of them and while that would have still been absolutely gorgeous. However, Sara’s mom did not want to miss her only daughter tying the knot.
So, they opted for a quick elopement at The Carlyle House in Alexandria, Virginia. The bride and groom and their parents were the only people in attendance. It was by far one of the most sweet, beautiful celebrations of love.
If 2020 taught us anything it’s that sometimes it’s okay to cut out all the superfluous things and focus on the intimate, meaningful moments. Experiencing the smaller, more intimate side of the wedding industry has been truly beautiful. Sara and Brandon’s elopement was a representation of their love! They can’t wait to celebrate their bigger celebration soon!
